Annapolis District RCMP investigates gunshot injury, Annapolis Royal, N.S.

2016/1/11 Annapolis District RCMP is investigating an incident of a male that required hospital treatment after receiving a gunshot wound. On January 9, 2016 at approximately 7:30 p.m., Annapolis District RCMP responded to a complaint from the Annapolis Community Heath Centre of an adult male who had come into the clinic with a gunshot wound to his arm. A 48 year-old male from Graywood was then transported to the Valley Regional Hospital by EHS for treatment. The injury is not considered serious in nature. A preliminary investigation has indicated that the man may have been shot by another man in the Annapolis County area. The investigation is ongoing. Investigators are asking anyone who may have information in relation to this incident to contact Annapolis District RCMP (Bridgetown office) at 902-665-4481 or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), texting TIP202 + your message to 'CRIMES' (274637) or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca.
