Announcements from Councillor Tim Outhit

Bedford and area residents, two announcements:

HRM would like to advise residents that work will begin this week on the installation of public washrooms in Admiral Harry DeWolf Park on the Bedford waterfront. Construction is anticipated to take approximately three months with a targeted completion date the end of October.

The work will necessitate the closure of the onsite gravel parking lot. The paved public lot across from the playground will remain open for the duration of the construction.

Also, the temporary Bedford skateboard park is being moved from the LeBrun Centre parking lot. The project WILL go ahead in one of 3 alternate locations that are being investigated!
