Annual Garden Party at Government House, June 20

The public is invited to attend the annual Lieutenant Governor's Garden Party on Wednesday, June 20, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Lt.-Gov. Arthur J. LeBlanc and Mrs. LeBlanc will host their first garden party on the grounds of Government House in Halifax. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Stadacona Band of Maritime Forces Atlantic and Ardyth and Jennifer.“This will be our first garden party since I was installed as lieutenant governor,” said Lt.-Gov. LeBlanc. “Patsy and I look forward to greeting guests at the ceremonial home of all Nova Scotians and celebrating our province. Everyone is welcome.”Those planning to attend the party should enter Government House through the main entrance on 1451 Barrington St. Parking is not available at Government House, but is available on surrounding streets and lots.In case of inclement weather, the garden party will be held indoors at Government House.
