Nova Scotians are invited to attend the annual lieutenant-governor’s New Year’s Day levee at Government House in Halifax.
The levee is a unique opportunity for Nova Scotians to exchange New Year’s greetings with the lieutenant-governor and to visit the oldest vice-regal residence in North America.
“Mrs. Grant and I invite people of all ages to join us for this wonderful New Year’s Day tradition at Government House. Everyone is welcome,” said Lt.-Gov. J.J. Grant.
The levee will be held Thursday, Jan. 1, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Government House, 1451 Barrington St.
