Common name: Apple three-prong AC wall plug adapters included in Apple World Travel Adapter Kit
Product description: This recall involves three-prong AC wall plug adapters included in Apple World Travel Adapter Kit (Travel Kit).
The Travel Kit consists of several AC wall plug adapters, which slide onto the Apple power adapter used to charge Mac computers and certain iOS devices in foreign countries with AC wall outlets configured differently from those in Canada.
Those countries/wall outlet configurations include a three-prong AC wall plug adapter configuration designed primarily for the United Kingdom, Singapore, and Hong Kong (a type-g configuration). The affected three-prong AC wall plug adapters are white, with no letters in the inside slot where it attaches to an Apple power adapter. Three-prong AC wall plug adapters that are white with gray on the inside portion that attaches to the power adapter are not affected by this recall.
