HRP received a report last night just after 7 p.m. in relation to a male knocking at doors in an apartment building looking for someone and that the male appeared to have what was believed to be a gun in his waistband.
A 34-year-old man from Dartmouth was located in the area and arrested without incident shortly after 8 p.m. No gun was located on the man at the time of his arrest.
He is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court today to face weapon related charged.
