Police are investigating an arson that occurred at a school in Bedford over the weekend.

At approximately 6:45 p.m. police and Halifax Fire and Emergency responded to a fire at the Bedford South School located on Oceanview Drive. Suspect(s) broke a window and set a fire inside one of the offices causing extensive damage.

A man and a woman, who were described as white and in their forties, were seen leaving the area in a black truck at the time of the incident.

Investigators are looking to speak with the man and woman and are asking anyone who has information in relation to the incident or video from the area to contact police at 902-490-5020. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or by using the P3 Tips app.
