HRP officers responded to a physical disturbance in a parkade in the 1300 block of South Park Street.

Officers determined that a male from a parking enforcement company was called to this location to remove a boot device from a vehicle parked on private property and issue a ticket. When the victim arrived he was attacked by the 27 year old female driver of the vehicle with a tire iron and by another 31 year old male with a pipe.

During the encounter, both the attackers struck the victim with a tire iron and pipe and with their hands. The victim did not sustain any visible injuries and was able to block most of the attacks.

The female accused will appear in HFX provincial court to face charges of assault with a weapon, damage to property and obstruction and the male accused will appear to face charges of assault with a weapon.
