(Updated) Halifax District Road Closure – Single Motorcycle MVA Exit 17 at Hwy 107 (near East Preston)

** Update :  Halifax District RCMP responded to a single-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle at 6 p.m. last evening at the intersection of Highway 107 and Highway 7 in East Preston.

The rider, a 51-year-old man, was transported by EHS to hospital with serious injuries. The exit was closed until 10 p.m. as a result of the collision.

The investigation is continuing.

Cole Harbour RCMP members are currently on scene of a single vehicle MVA involving a motorcycle on Highway 107/Highway 7. The lone male driver sustained injuries believed to be life threatening.
Currently Exit 17 at hwy 7 is closed – no inbound access going into East Preston from Exit 17. Outgoing traffic from there is still moving in one lane outbound.
