Associate Deputy Minister Appointed

Rollie King has been promoted to associate deputy minister responsible for labour relations. He will support the minister responsible for labour relations and provide leadership and advice on the province’s labour-related matters. “Rollie brings a comprehensive understanding of labour relations in the public sector,” said Premier Stephen McNeil. “I am confident in his ability to continue building strong relationships with stakeholders and providing sound advice to government.”Mr. King has extensive labour relations experience in the health and education sectors and has held increasingly senior positions in government since joining in 2013, most recently as senior executive director of the Public Service Commission. He will continue in his leadership role at the Public Service Commission providing executive leadership and oversight to the employee and labour relations and benefits team.
