Wednesday, Dec 14, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising pedestrians that a portion of the sidewalk along Barrington Street near the entrance to the underground parking garage for Scotia Square (directly below the pedway) will be closed starting tomorrow and will continue for five consecutive days.
The closure is necessary to protect the public as a crane needs to erect some steel in the area.
This closure will not affect Halifax Transit bus stops. To access Scotia Square please use the entrance at the corner of Barrington and Duke streets.
The municipality apologizes for any inconvenience this sidewalk work may cause.
