‘Beachy’ reads for women

On a hot summer day, I prefer to read a novel that is set in the summertime. It makes it easier to immerse myself in the fiction and I can identify with it more.
In the fall I like to read books set in the autumn. In the winter I like my novels to be set in the winter. Am I the only one? I think it feels strange to lie on a hot beach reading of frigid temperatures. Some would argue that they like it because the setting of the novel keeps them cool, but not me.
If like me you are tired of the rainy weather and dream of what summer is supposed to be, here are some new women’s novels with ‘beachy‘ covers to get you in the mood for what surely WILL come…
Barefoot” by Elin Hilderbrand
Beach trip” by Cathy Holton
Needles and pearls” by Gil McNeil
Happiness Key” by Emilie Richards
Lakeside cottage” by Susan Wiggs
Another summer” by Georgia Bockoven
Any one of these will help to make the sand between your toes more enjoyable!
