Registration for the 2012 Bedford 5k to Beat Lung Cancer (event takes place July 1, 2012) now open and our first official announcement for this year’s event is now online. All the details at www.bedford5k.com.

For those that have participated in the Bedford 5k before, we’re not really changing a thing. For those that haven’t joined us before, you’re in for a treat.

The Bedford 5k route is a beautiful route – something of a figure 8 – starting in Dewolf Park, tracing the Bedford waterfront along the popular running locale of Shore Drive and back along the water again. It’s a flat, very comfortable route for walkers and runners. For the competitive folks – get ready to run one of your faster times. Our goal this year isn’t a financial one – it’s PEOPLE. Please help us get 500 registrants for this, the fifth anniversary of the Bedford 5k to Beat Lung Cancer.
