At 7:43 pm Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery with a weapon at Shoppers Drug Mart, 950 Bedford Highway. 
A man approached the pharmacist, pointed a handgun at her and demanded she give him drugs from the pharmacy. The male obtained an undisclosed amount of narcotics and fled on foot from the store. No one was injured during the robbery.
 
He is described as a white male, 5”8, wearing a grey hoodie, his face was covered with a scarf and wearing black pants.
