Before & After

Phew, what a day. I am one tired gal and SO incredibly thankful that hubby and I both have tomorrow off so that we can just reeeelax.

I woke up bright and early this morning, got a huge pot of coffee on and proceeded to bake the best batch of blueberry muffins that I’ve ever made.  I used this recipe -  “To Die For Blueberry Muffins” from Allrecipes.comsmall modifications included reducing the sugar to 1/2c and increasing the milk to 1c.

Between the four of us there was only ONE muffin left out of the dozen once we finished breakfast.

Served with leftover fruit.  There was only a little bit of whip cream left on the fruit tray so I combined it with Strawberry Liberte yogurt to make a fruity dip….mmm mmm!

We removed the tape around the baseboards and then inspected our paint job.  AWESOME!!!!! I am SO incredibly happy with how it turned out.  Big, huge THANKS to Holly and Dean for being such great friends and helping us out. xoxo

Hubby and I spent the next 4 hours touching up the paint, cleaning paint drips <— this requires serious elbow grease, re-installing all the plate covers and cleaning, cleaning, cleaning.  But the results were amazing.    I was so happy that I called my parents to come over and see. 🙂

I had leftovers for lunch – 2 slices of veggie pizza

We spent the afternoon visiting my parents and then watched The Blind Side.  What a great story, loved the movie! Sandra Bullock is one of my fav actresses too. 🙂

I munched on a couple Cranberry Citrus Oat Crunch cookies and a bit more fruit.

Supper was an oldie but a goodie.  Black bean burgers! Combine a can of black beans with 4 tbsp of flour, h20, chopped veggies and a healthy dose of Frank’s Buffalo Sauce.  Form patties and cook in the frying pan.

Melt some old cheddar on top and then drizzle with condiments.  I love me some mustard.
