Bible Hill RCMP investigate bomb threat, Bible Hill, N.S.

Colchester District RCMP are investigating after a gas station in Bible Hill received a bomb threat. At approximately 11:30 a.m. today, RCMP responded to a report of a bomb threat at Kennedy's Esso on Pictou Road in Bible Hill.

At approximately 11:30 a.m. today, RCMP responded to a report of a bomb threat at Kennedy’s Esso on Pictou Road in Bible Hill.

A female caller, with an accent, contacted the manager at the Esso and threatened that she had a bomb and would blow up the store. The store was closed and a search of the location did not uncover anything suspicious.

It is believed the incident is related to a similar investigation that occurred today at a gas station on Highway 6 in West Amherst. At noon today, the Esso station in Amherst also received a bomb threat. Both investigations are continuing.

Police are requesting the public’s assistance for any information related to this matter.
