bloggy makeover

I’m sitting here sipping on some tea and thinking about change. Since you, my readers, are what keeps Natural Mommie buzzing, I want your input. I’m getting a little makeover done on my blog for a few reasons:
1} I believe change is a good thing. Keeps things fresh
2} Gives me the opportunity to incorporate new content and some goodies that I hope you’ll appreciate
3} I can’t stand things being THE SAME ALL THE TIME! {reason my hair goes from blonde to black at least twice a year!}
4} I feel like the look of Natural Mommie doesn’t reflect who I am and what I love {other than the pink aspect}. I don’t like cartooney things so even though my yoga girl is cute, she gets on my nerves LOL I love beautiful fonts and don’t have any incorporated into my site. I love  simple + beautiful + shabby chic + modern + bright and white and again, my site doesn’t reflect that!! I spend a lot of time on my blog and it needs to be a place I love looking at. For some reason, I’m finding all my inspiration from things I love in my own home, like my Sophie Conran dishes!
And this the inspiration for the new Natural Mommie:
Now, I’m not switching over to wordpress or anything crazy like that. I’m good with blogger and don’t have enough pros vs cons on my list to make the leap.
So tell me what you don’t like {gently please!} and would like changed! Or anything you’d like to see more of – I’m all ears!!! I know one of my readers was hoping for links to open in a new window/tab instead of on the same page. Are we all cool with this, because I would really like it if it was set up that way. Are there any categories you’d like to see that aren’t currently here like recipes for example?
I REALLY appreciate your help. You can get things going and leave a comment below or drop me an email at amanda@naturalmommie.com
