The Bluenose II sailing schedule has been released, including public harbour cruises and the popular Deckhand for a Day program.
The season began in Lunenburg on June 10 with harbour sailings and public boarding, and will continue on to Massachusetts today, June 12, to participate in Sail Boston. The vessel is scheduled to depart at 9 a.m., pending weather.
Upon her return, Bluenose II will spend Canada Day in Nova Scotia before voyaging to Quebec City to represent the province in Canada 150 celebrations. She will return home and spend the remainder of the sailing season visiting Nova Scotia ports.
As part of the province’s Canada 150 celebrations, Bluenose II will lead the Tall Ships Parade of Sail during the Halifax Tall Ships event and visit ports from Digby to Sydney until Sept. 30.
