Body found in Baddeck, Baddeck, N.S.

Baddeck RCMP respond to report of found body.

On Saturday November 29th, at approximately 1:00 p.m. Baddeck RCMP responded to a report of a male laying, unresponsive in a wooded area in Baddeck.

The body of a 56-year-old male from Baddeck was located in a small wooded area between Ross and Twinning Streets in Baddeck.

Northeast Nova Majors Crime Unit was consulted and foul play is not suspected at this time. The name of the deceased and details are being withheld, pending the notification of next-of-kin. The Nova Scotia Medical Examiner’s office is assisting. The investigation is continuing.
