Bomb Threat Closes Dartmouth Provincial Court

At 12:53 p.m., a 911 dispatcher received a call from a man who stated that there was a bomb at Dartmouth Provincial Court located at 277 Pleasant Street.

Officers arrived on scene quickly and prevented any further access to the building. Officers, accompanied by a K-9 Unit, cleared the building and nothing suspicious was located. The building was not evacuated and normal business resumed at 2:20 p.m. 

The investigation by the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division is continuing. Anyone with information about the man responsible for this incident is asked to contact police at 902-490-5020.
