Donna Lugar, Chair of BRA, is pleased to advise that 15 people were in attendance at the Bedford Residents Association Brainstorming meeting held yesterday evening, and that the Association now has 8 new members. Unfortunately, however, nobody was able to commit to an Executive position. Therefore, a Search Committee has been struck and will be meeting for the first time on Thursday morning. In this regard, if any Bedford resident is interested in becoming more involved with the Association in the capacity of Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary or Treasurer, or would be interested in helping with Communications/Marketing or attending the regularly scheduled monthly meetings as a Member-at-Large, please let the Association know ASAP. As well, please feel free to inform any Bedford resident you think may be interested. “Overall the Brainstorming session was positive and it was agreed by all those in attendance the an Association such as this is required, said Donna Lugar. “There were many wonderful suggestions that are ‘on hold’ until an Executive can be found.” Please give careful consideration as to your possible involvement as it is imperative that the Association has people agreeing to be on the Executive so that this Association can continue.
