Break and enter and theft of motor vehicle

Two young offenders are facing charges after an incident this morning.
  
At 4:00 am this morning east patrol members responded to the 0-100 block of Baker Drive to a report of two youths attempting to break into a motor home.  While checking the area officers discovered an abandoned stolen vehicle in the parking lot of the Petro Canada Gas station at 610 Portland Street.  The K-9 unit was on scene and eventually lead officers to an address in the 0-100 Block of Gaston Road.  Officers discovered a 17 and 18 year old male in the parking lot attempting to steal another vehicle.  They were taken into custody without incident.
 
  The 17 year old young offender male is facing 1 count of break and enter, 1 count of theft and possession of a stolen motor vehicle under $5000, 1 count of attempted theft of a motor vehicle under $5000.
 
  The 18 year old adult male is facing  1 count of break and enter, 1 count of theft and possession of a stolen motor vehicle under $5000, 1 count of attempted theft of a motor vehicle under $5000, 1 count of possession of break and enter tools, 8 counts of breaching a probation order and 3 counts of breaching a undertaking.
 
  Both males will appear in Halifax Provincial court later today.
