At about 1220 am Halifax Regional Police responded to a residence in the 0-11 block of Old Sambro Road in Halifax for a male who had been stabbed. The victim, a 48 year old male from Halifax, and two other males were in the residence when three male suspects with their faces covered entered the residence and attempted to rob the occupants. One of the suspects got into a struggle with the  victim, the victim was stabbed several times and was transported to the QE2 with non life threatening injuries. Members of the Forensic Identification Section and Integrated General Investigation Section are continuing the investigation.
