Brigit’s Spring Celebration! The sixth Halifax Celtic Festival returns, February 1-3 at Halifax Forum Multipurpose Centre.

SAINT BRIGIT’S DAY is February 1st, which was originally a festival called IMBOLC, marking the beginning of spring. Celtic associations and vendors displays, genealogy and language programs and entertainment on February 1-3 at the Forum. Don’t miss out!

The Halifax Celtic Festival

The Halifax Celtic Festival is an annual cultural showcase organized by the Celtic Society of Nova Scotia. The festival brings the Celtic community together to celebrate local Celtic artists, vendors, performers, food, sports, family activities and Celtic traditions.

The annual festival offers free admission for majority of its events. The 2019 Halifax Celtic Festival takes place on January 30 – February 3, 2019, with main events being hosted at the Halifax Forum Multipurpose Centre February 1-3, and earlier in the week at several locations around HRM.
