As I mentioned in my first post about the Brother Labeler, I’ve always wanted one but wasn’t sure it was worth it the investment. Turns out, it’s kind of one of things that you don’t realize how much they can affect your life until you own one…like kids 😉 Okay, not completely, but you get my drift…moving on!
As part of the Brother P-Touch Ambassador program, I’ve been using and abusing my label maker and trusty labels for a few months now. The room that needed the most organizing was my office (which was non-existent until here) and it’s really been a blessing to have such a handy little tool to keep organized, especially for my craft supplies. I was able to transform about 15 clear boxes into neatly labeled boxes of, well, okay, junk mostly, but junk that WILL be useful when I have time again! Craft supplies, extra art supplies, random things and more random things that are tucked into my closet office.
Obviously, since the boxes don’t get a ton of use, the labels will remain in great shape for a long time. The real test of the Brother Labels (which I think you’ll appreciate more) have been in my kitchen – specifically, my pantry and all the items I pull in and out of there day in, day out – and usually with sticky, greasy fingers from baking with my children.
Yes. The Pantry is really where the magic happened with the label maker.
These labels are super durable and haven’t started lifting in the least after lots and lots and LOTS of use. But the interesting thing is that one you manage to get the corner lifted they easily peel right off glass and plastic without leaving any sort of sticky residue. Not sure how the people at Brother made it happen, but it’s amazing!
The labeler itself has a tiny bit of a learning curve to it as far as figuring how to get the look you want and it takes some playing around. But once I was happy with the spacing, sizing and font of my labels I went label- crazy.
I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Brother P-Touch and received a product and gift card to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate for my Brother P-Touch Label Maker Reviews.
