The holiday season is fast approaching but many families in Nova Scotia struggle to provide food on the table all-year round, though Christmas can be especially hard. With donations to food banks on the decline, Feed Nova Scotia is pushing it's campaign for contributions harder than ever. 

Haligonia's Antoine Abawajy went down to the World Trade and Convention Centre recently to view the Canstruction project in support of funds and donations. The 2011 fundraising event was a major success with 27,878 cans of food collected for Feed Nova Scotia. It's never too late to donate if you haven't already and help turn hungry bellies into happy hearts.
