At 9:55 pm Halifax Regional Police responded  to a vehicle into a building at Langbrae Drive and Parkland Drive.

Officers located a small vehicle had left the road, struck a fence, then a small tree then was launched in the air striking an apartment building on Parkland Drive about 4 feet above ground level. The accident caused structural damage to the apartment building. Regional Fire Service evacuated the affected units. The driver of the vehicle, a 23 year old female from Halifax, was transported to the QE2 with non life threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing but it appears speed and alcohol were factors in the collision.
