Man Tries To Get Into Business With Replica Gun

At 2am Halifax Regional Police responded to a call of a male with a gun that had tried to get into a business in the 1600 block of Barrington Street. The suspect was described as a white male, heavy set, beard, dark hair, blue hoody and baggie jeans. A short time later the suspect was observed walking south on Grafton St and was taken into custody without incident. Officers located and seized a knife in a sheath as well as a replica semi automatic pistol. The 21 year old male will be attending court today to face numerous weapons related offences.
