Cash, cigarettes, and lottery tickets stolen in Halifax store robbery

Halifax Regional Police have charged a man in relation to a robbery that occurred in Halifax earlier this week.

On December 25 at approximately 6 a.m. officers responded to a robbery that had occurred at the Circle K at 5450 Inglis Street.  A man entered the store, demanded money and cigarettes and fled on foot with a quantity of cash, cigarettes and lottery tickets.

At approximately 8 a.m. officers located the suspect at a residence in Halifax and recovered the stolen property.

Clay James Alexander LeBlanc, 26, is scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial today to face charges of robbery and three counts of failing to comply with conditions of a court order.
