Summer’s about to get a whole lot hotter, thanks to the upcoming release of CFB Halifax’s 2015 Firefighter Calendar.

While the annual fundraising initiative’s main purpose is to generate funds for CFB Halifax’s Firefighter Combat Challenge Team, 25 per cent of the proceeds earned from each $10 calendar sale are donated to the Nova Scotia Firefighter Burn Treatment Society which, according to project coordinator Mike Charlton, uses its share to help finance a week-long burn survivors’ camp for children and young adults.
