Wednesday, November 9, 2011- Halifax Water is undertaking borehole work to assist in determining the feasibility of constructing a trunk wastewater system from the Beechville Lakeside Timberlea (BLT) area into Halifax. This is preliminary work only. No construction activity is being planned or undertaken at this time.
This borehole work will be conducted by Conquest Engineering Limited between November 14, 2011 and November 25, 2011.
Where possible, the trail will remain open and appropriate signage and personnel will be present on-site to guide trail users around the work site. However temporary trail closures to sections of the Chain of Lakes and Beechville, Lakeside, Timberlea trails systems will be required. The attached map outlines the dates of closure, as well as the closure areas.
Halifax Water regrets any inconvenience these temporary closures may cause.
