CHAMPION

I always enjoy supporting a good underdog film (maybe that’s because those are the only films I’m involved in); a film that I feel could really use the word of mouth because otherwise, their meek marketing campaigns give them little hope of being seen by the masses.

Two films that I’ve “championed” in the past were THE STATION AGENT and THE VISITOR, both by writer/director Tom McCarthy (see them NOW). His third film, WIN WIN played at Sundance, and I was one severe hangover away from catching it. My only true regret of the festival.

I’ve decided that I don’t care if I haven’t seen it, I am championing it. Blind faith.

This may go down in history as the most random blog entry you’ve ever been privy to.
