Charges Laid After Dartmouth Stabbing

At approximately 5:00pm yesterday evening, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a stabbing at the 0-100th block of Primrose Street in Dartmouth. Once emergency services arrived they found a male who was suffering a stab wound. He was transported by EHS to the QE2 where he received medical treatment.

He was transported by EHS to the QE2 where he received medical treatment.

 

The Integrated General Investigative Section of HRP has laid charges against 2, 17 year old males in relation to the stabbing. One 17 year old was held for a court appearance this morning to face charges of: aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon dangerous and, breaches of his recognizance. The second male has also been charged with assault, breaches of his recognizance and probation stemming from the same incident. He was also held for a court appearance this morning.
