Charges laid after man found looking into windows

Halifax Regional Police have charged a man in relation to suspicious incidents that occurred in Dartmouth last weekend. In three incidents a man not known to the respective homeowners entered properties and looked in the windows of three homes.

Halifax Regional Police officers have arrested and charged 65-year-old man Derrick R. Goodine with two counts of Trespass by Night and three counts of Criminal Harassment. Goodine has been remanded to Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility and will be attending Dartmouth Provincial Court on Tuesday October 11, 2022 at 9:30 a.m.

The matter remains under investigation. Anyone with information in relation to these incidents or video from the area is asked to call police at 902-490-5020.
