Shortly before 4 p.m. on January 31, 2020, members of the Drug Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division conducted a search warrant at Compassion Consulting, located at 601-46 Portland Street. Investigators seized in excess of 750 grams of cannabis, 42 pre-rolled cannabis cigarettes, 82 units of cannabis oils as well as other cannabis products.

A man and a woman, both from Dartmouth, face three charges each:

• Section 9(2) of the Cannabis Act – Possession for the purpose of distributing
• Section 10(2) of the Cannabis Act- Possessing cannabis for the purpose of selling
• Section 13(1) of the Cannabis Act- Possession for the use in distribution of illicit cannabis

The accused are scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court at a later date.
