Charges laid in relation to the stabbings at the Toothy Moose

Police have charged 29-year-old Brandon Farmer of Halifax in relation to the stabbings at the Toothy Moose in March.

Yesterday at 3:44 a.m., Farmer was arrested in Dartmouth after officers responded to a report of an impaired driver.

He is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today to face one count each of possession of a weapon, carrying a concealed weapon and aggravated assault, two counts of assault causing bodily harm and three counts of assault with a weapon in relation to the Toothy Moose stabbings. He is also charged with impaired driving and refusing the breathalyzer in relation to yesterday’s incident.
