Charges to be Laid Against Two Teens after Weapon Incident – Middle Sackville

Police will be laying charges in the incident that occurred near Millwood High in Middle Sackville yesterday.
Two male youths, 15 and 17 years old, will be charged with the following offences:
  • Unsafe Storage of a Firearm
  • Possession of Weapons for a Dangerous Purpose (x 4)
  • Carrying Concealed Weapons (x 4)
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm (x 2)
  • Unlawful Possession of a Firearm in a Motor Vehicle (x 2)
  • Possession of Firearm for the Purpose of Trafficking (x 2)
  • Theft Under $5000
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
  • Possession of a Weapon Obtained by Crime (x 2)
In addition, police will be laying a charge of Uttering Threats against an 18-year-old man who was also involved in this incident. He was arrested last evening as part of the ongoing police investigation into this matter.
All three individuals are appearing in Court today; the youths in Halifax Provincial Court and the adult in Dartmouth Provincial Court.
