This evening’s Supper was chicken in a creamy wine sauce. Doesn’t it look good? I knew that I wanted to cook with wine, it always makes the meal taste so decadent! I googled for some recipe inspiration and ended up creating a dish based on the ingredients we had on hand.
The sauce was a combo of white wine & vegetable broth, with small amount of blend cream and olive oil. Seasoned with rosemary, sage & thyme; thickened with a little cornstarch.
With chicken, carrots & onions. Served on 1/2 cup organic rice. Wonderful!
Along with the main dish, we also had simple baby spinach & strawberry salads. I topped mine with balsamic vinegar. Mmmm mmm!
A bit more experimenting with MariLynn…. this time in Monochrome, AKA Black & White. Usually if I went a photo in B&W I’ll just use photoshop, it’s pretty neat to have a function on the chair that does it for me.
We’re staying in tonight, going to watch Shutter Island and relax. C’ya tomorrow morning!
