Child Struck by Vehicle, Sent to the Hospital With Non-Life-Threatening Injuries

Halifax Regional Police reports that at 8:45 pm last night, an 11-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle at the 100 block of Victoria Road in Dartmouth. The girl attempted to cross the street in front of a parked transit bus and, was struck by a car that was passing the bus. The girl was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and later released. The matter is still under investigation.
