Various “Will & You Children’s Outerwear Tops” have been identified to pose an entanglement hazard due to their waist drawstring, as per Health Canada’s evaluation. The drawstring poses risks such as snagging on structures or objects and potential entanglement, with the added danger of a child being dragged if it gets caught in a vehicle. As of October 4, 2023, no incidents or injuries have been reported in Canada related to these products. Health Canada advises consumers to stop using the recalled products immediately and remove the drawstring to eliminate the hazard.
