Cogswell Street – Temporary Crosswalk Closure

Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and pedestrians that the crosswalk located mid-block on Cogswell Street, adjacent to the Pavilion building and the Emera Oval, will be inaccessible on Thursday, Oct. 13 and Friday, Oct. 14.

This closure is required to facilitate crosswalk improvements that are being implemented in conjunction with the ongoing Cogswell Street paving and upgrade project, which is anticipated to continue until early November.

Sidewalks on both sides of Cogswell will remain open for use during this work, however pedestrians are advised to cross at an alternative location.

The municipality regrets any inconvenience this work may cause.
