Commission Issues Two Permanent Cease Trade Orders

The Nova Scotia Securities Commission has issued permanent cease trade orders against Global Stevia Corp. and Mabou Growth Fund Ltd.

The companies violated Nova Scotia securities laws by not filing continuous disclosure documents.

Mabou Growth Fund Ltd. is a Nova Scotia community economic development corporation and Global Stevia Corp. is a Nova Scotia reporting issuer.

The director of corporate finance ordered the companies to comply with Nova Scotia securities laws and ordered all people and companies to permanently cease trading in securities of the companies.

The Nova Scotia Securities Commission is the provincial government agency responsible for regulating trading in securities in the province.
