RCMP investigating robbery, Bible Hill, N.S.

Colchester District RCMP are investigating a report of a robbery. At approximately 4 a.m. on May 26th, the driver of a local taxi company and a single passenger were travelling along College Road in Bible Hill.

At approximately 4 a.m. on May 26th, the driver of a local taxi company and a single passenger were travelling along College Road in Bible Hill.

The passenger asked the taxi driver to stop on Bigney Avenue. When the driver stopped, the passenger produced a weapon and demanded cash. The driver was able to escape without injury and the suspect fled on foot.

Officers searched the area with the assistance of an RCMP police dog; however could not locate the suspect.

He is believed to be in his early 20’s and described as skinny with brown hair and some acne or scarring on his face.
