Hello everyone! Here are a few things going on this month and next month (and one outlier for December). Also, fun fact about the neighbourhood – did you know that there is excellent bouldering in this area? If you don’t know much about bouldering, here’s a description.
I’m heading out to Crystal Crescent beach this afternoon with a friend to enjoy the beautiful day and do some rock climbing. In the meantime, enjoy the day and these upcoming events.ÂÂ

Theatre Arts Guild 2014-2015 Presents the Season Opener – “Doubt: A Parable”
When – Show Runs September18th to October 4th – Tickets On Sale August 22nd, 2014
This award winning play, which has also been turned into a movie, takes place at a Catholic School in the Bronx in 1964. ÂÂ When a priest can’t escape the suspicious eye of an old-school nun, it starts a battle that shakes the reputation and faith of the community.
For More Info, please visit www.tagtheatre.com. To reserve a seat, call (902) 451-1221.
(I’m excited to see this play, as it contains a wonderful quote that I came across a few years ago:Â
“Doubt requires more courage than conviction does, and more energy; because conviction is a resting place and doubt is infinite – it is a passionate exercise. You may come out of my play uncertain. You may want to be sure. Look down on that feeling. We’ve got to learn to live with a full measure of uncertainty. There is no last word. That’s the silence under the chatter of our time. “) – Shaina
