Info below via Marjorie Willison---The ACT for Community Food Security project will be taking place in Spryfield. This project, which is spearheaded by Mount St. Vincent University and St. Francis Xavier University, is about where and how our food is produced, and how people get the food they need. Spryfield is one of four communities across the province that has been chosen to participate, and Chebucto Connections is leading this initiative here in Spryfield.There will be a Community Consultation on Thursday, October 13, 4 to 7 pm. We will be serving a meal, and asking you to join in conversations about what food means to you.The event will take place in the new Community Wellness Centre, Room 169.
