Commuter Rail Feasibility Study Open House Feb. 26

Monday, Feb. 23, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – Residents are invited to attend an open house being hosted this week by Halifax Transit and CPCS Canada to present information on work completed to date on the Commuter Rail Feasibility Study, which has been underway since Sept. 2014. The objective of the study is to examine options and associated costs of implementing and operating a commuter rail line in Halifax.

The meeting will be held as follows:

When: Thursday, Feb. 26, 5 – 8 p.m.

Where: Sunnyside Mall (near Shoppers Drug Mart), 1595 Bedford Highway, Bedford

For additional background information on the study visit www.halifax.ca/transit/commuterrail.php. This page will also feature presentation materials and an opportunity to provide feedback later this week for the convenience of residents unable to attend the session in person.
