Continuing Road Construction – South Street

Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that work to install new curbs and sidewalks on South Street will continue today, Sept. 2, and Wednesday, Sept. 3, between Queen Street and Barrington Street, as well as at the Barrington Street intersection.

This work is happening between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Lane drops will be in place and there will be stop-and-go traffic while this work is going on. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.

The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
