Road Construction – South Street & Kent Street

Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that crews will be doing asphalt milling on South Street and Kent Street in Halifax on Thursday, Sept. 4.

Crews will be working from 9 a.m. until about 4 p.m. on South Street between Queen Street and Barrington Street, and on Kent Street between Queen Street and Barrington Street.

During this work there will be stop-and-go traffic. Motorists should expect long delays, as there will also be a street closure in the area for unrelated work. Motorists are strongly advised to find alternative routes, if possible.
