The caller reported a vehicle drove thru a construction site and fell into a 6 foot hole.  The fire department had to remove the lone 79 year old male occupant thru the front windshield area.  He was taken to the Dartmouth General Hospital as a precaution and soon after released.  Traffic pylons were in place but there may have been an excessive gap where the driver had entered.  The Department of Labor was made aware of the incident and the hole was filled in immediately after the accident.
