Photos: Crash On Water Street Sunday

At approximately 12:15 pm a vehicle with 2 occupants was travelling down Sackville St towards Lower Water St. It appears that the driver of this vehicle suffered a medical emergency and lost control of the vehicle. 

The vehicle then struck a parked car, continued down Sackville St and struck a second car stopped at the stop sign at Lower Water St. The out of control vehicle then continued across Lower Water St and struck a third vehicle that was travelling north on Lower Water St. The out of control vehicle came to rest against a tree and the third vehicle that was struck came to rest against a traffic sign. All four vehicles involved in the accident sustained significant damage. A 25 year old male and a 25 year old female who were in the vehicle that had lost control, and a 65 year old female in the last vehicle struck, were taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be serious.  Traffic on Lower Water St, the lower portion of Sackville St and the lower portion of Salter St was closed for some time due to this accident.
